Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Approval was obtained from Western Regional Hospital and ethical approval was obtained from the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (Ref No. 152/079). PLHIV aged 18 years and above were considered as the study participants. Participants were fully informed regarding study objectives and written informed consents were obtained before the initiation of the data collection. Confidentiality of the data was fully maintained and collected data were used only for research purposes.
