Ethics approval and consent to participate: All data were collected under the approval of the University of New Hampshire’s (UNH) Institutional Review Board [Protocol # IRB-FY2022-5]. We confirm that all methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations put forth by the UNH IRB. Informed consent (for 18-22 year olds) or assent (for 13-17 year olds) was obtained from all subjects involved in the study. A waiver of caregiver permission was requested and granted for minors because requiring caregiver consent could potentially place youth in situations where their sexual experiences and/or sexual attraction could be unintentionally disclosed to their caregivers.
