Ethics approval and consent to participate: Ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Bahir Dar University College of Medicine and Health Sciences (reference number: IRB/712/2023). A support letter was provided to the Adet town administrator and health office, which granted permission for data collection in local kebeles. All participants were above the age of 18; no minors were included in this study. Participants were informed about the study’s purpose and their right to decline participation. Confidentiality was ensured through the anonymity of the interviewer-administered questionnaire, and verbal informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to recruitment. No personal information that could compromise confidentiality was collected.This study adhered to the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki, ensuring that all ethical considerations regarding research involving human participants were respected throughout the study.
