Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study “Capacity Building and strengthening of Hospital Infection Control to detect and prevent antimicrobial resistance in India “was approved by the P.D. Hinduja Hospital Institutional Review Board. The study was approved by the Institution’s Ethics Committee (IEC) (ECR/16/Inst/MH/2013/RR-19) and is re-registered as the Institution’s Ethics Committee (IEC) (ECR/16/Inst/MH/2013/RR-24) of P.D. Hinduja Hospital (project Code: 1533-22-CR). Date of Approval: 1st February 2023.The institution waived consent to participate, as this is a retrospective analysis. The IRB was constituted in accordance with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) ethical guidelines, which are consistent with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (1964) and its 2024 amendments. The study was conducted in accordance with these ethical principles by the investigators.
