Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study utilized data from three large population-based surveys: the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES), the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), and the UK Biobank. KNHANES was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA). NHANES was approved by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) Ethics Review Board. The UK Biobank was approved by the North West Multicentre Research Ethics Committee, the National Information Governance Board for Health and Social Care in England and Wales, and the Community Health Index Advisory Group in Scotland (application No. 69972).
