Ethics approval and consent to participate
: STRATOS 1 and 2 were conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and the International Conference on Harmonisation Guidance for Good Clinical Practice. Independent ethics committee approval of the protocols was obtained at all participating centres and all participants provided written informed consent.
