: Ethical and research governance approval was obtained from all relevant Ethics and Governance committees before commencement of the research. (Child and Adolescent Health Service Ethics Committee, reference RGS4136 (for Western Australian and Queensland sites), Western Australian Aboriginal Health Ethics Committee reference HREC 774 (for Western Australian sites), Human Research Ethics Committee of the Northern Territory Department of Health and Menzies School of Health Research reference HREC 2021–3954 (for Northern Territory sites) and reciprocal ethics was given by University of Queensland's Human Research Ethics Committee reference 2020002563 (Queensland sites). Written, informed consent will be obtained from all participants or the parents/guardians of minor participants before participation in interviews, focus groups, QoL tools or enrolment of children into the study. Parents/guardians may provide verbal consent if recruitment occurs via telephone for the nil-intervention group or if COVID-19 restrictions are implemented and such approval has been provided by all ethics committees. All data will be managed according to NHMRC research standards.
