Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The use of personal data, including healthcare data, is protected by the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data [CitationRef removed]. The study was therefore performed under the general permission for data collection to the Danish Patient Compensation Agency (2012–42-0325), and no further approval was necessary due to anonymization of the data before leaving the DPCA. The patients were not contacted, as the need for consent was deemed unnecessary according to national regulations, by the Danish Act of Processing of Personal Data [CitationRef removed]. Ethical approval was not necessary, as the patients were not contacted in relation to the study.
