: Mr. Eric Lawer Torgbenu is an assistant lecturer and a physiotherapist at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho, Ghana and he is a member of the Ghana Physiotherapy Association. He was the Head of Physiotherapy Department of East Akim Municipal Hospital, Kibi. While employed by the Ghana Health Service, he had the opportunity to read his Master of Science Degree in Disability, Rehabilitation and Development from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He has rich working experience having been involved in health education and promotion exercises across religious bodies in the East-Akim Municipality and beyond. He was also appointed in 2015 as a Lecturer at Greenhills School of Health Sciences, Accra. His area of specialty is in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Women’s Health, Health research and Management of Chronic Diseases.Mr. Evans Yayra Kwaku Ashigbi is a Physiotherapist and a lecturer with the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Health and Allied Sciences. He served as the Head of Department. He gained his Master of Science Degree in Disability, Rehabilitation and Development from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He worked as a Physiotherapist at the 37 Military Hospital (Ghana Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence) for five (5) years (2007–2010: Physiotherapist; 2010–2012: Senior Physiotherapist) after his mandatory one-year internship at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (2005–2006). He was appointed Principal Physiotherapist and head of the Physiotherapy Unit at the Trust Hospital Company Limited in Accra, from 2012 to 2014. He has also worked as the team Physiotherapist for Liberty Professionals Football Club, from 2007 to 2014. Mr. Ashigbi is a registrant of the Allied Health Professions Council, Ghana and the Ghana Physiotherapy Association. He was a member of the welfare committee of the Ghana Physiotherapy Association and also served as the chairman of the education committee of the association from 2015 to 2017. He is currently doing his PhD in Sports Medicine in Germany. His research interest is in Disability and Sports Rehabilitation.Mr. Maxwell Peprah Opoku is a Ghanaian and started his early education at his place of birth before moving to Kumasi for his first degree in Political Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. After serving a year as Teaching and Research Assistant, he developed interest in disability which influenced his decision to enroll in Disability, Rehabilitation and Development for his second degree from this same University. He was appointed as Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Centre of Disability Studies, Department of Community Health while pursuing his Master degree. He was awarded scholarship by African Union to pursue second master’s degree in governance and Regional Integration. He is currently doing his PhD in Australia. His area of specialty is disability, special education, community-based rehabilitation, Inclusive education, health research, management of natural resources, human rights, social policies and public policy.Ms. Sandra Banini is currently a Clinical Physiotherapist at the Volta Regional Hospital, Ghana. She trained from the University of Ghana and has accrued over six (6) years of practice in Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice in Tanzania. Ms. Banini’s interest is in the management of paediatric cases using orthotic devices to rehabilitate children with cerebral palsy and brachial plexus injuries. Her research area is in the management of neurological conditions.Mr. Emmanuel Barima Agyemang Prempeh is an assistant registrar and a Professional Chartered Administrator and Licensed Management Consultant at the Teaching and Examination Unit of the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho, Ghana. He pursued a Master of Business Administration in General Management and Chartered in Administration at the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC), Ghana. He is involved in educational and examination policy planning. Emmanuel’s area of research is in Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction, Stress Management especially in public organisations and small-scale businesses. He is a member in good standing of Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants.
