Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval for this study was asked for and waived by the local Medical Research Ethics Committee of the Radboud University Medical Centre, Nijmegen (Protocol Number: 2017–3625). The study fell outside the remit of the law for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects Act and was approved by the local ethical committee. The independent German DIMDI (Deutsches Institut für Medizinische Dokumentation und Information) judged that the dr. Bart app is not a medical device (number 94.1.10–5660-11283). Ethical approval for this study was asked for and waived by the local Medical Research Committee of the “Ethik-Kommission Ärztekammer Nordrhein ”(protocol number: 2018–281). This study is registered in the Dutch trial register (trial number: NTR 6693). Digital consent will be collected with CastorEDC from study participants.
