The GLA:D® registry has been approved by the Danish Data Protection Agency (SDU; 10.084). According to the Danish Data Protection Act patient consent was not required for this analysis as personal data was processed exclusively for research and statistical purposes. Informed consent for the use of data in the GLA:D® registry for research was obtained for all participants when enrolling in GLA:D®.
