Ethical approval was obtained from the B&B Institutional Review Committee (IRC) (Reg: IRC_2021_12_27_2) of B&B Hospital before initiation. Given the study’s retrospective nature and the use of de-identified clinical records, the requirement for written informed consent was waived. Nevertheless, verbal consent was obtained from all participants (or their legally authorised representatives) contacted via telephone for functional outcome assessments. Data confidentiality and participant anonymity were strictly maintained, and all data were stored in encrypted, password-protected systems accessible only to authorised research personnel.
