: The patient provided verbal informed consent, which was registered in the electronic patient record, for intraoperative use of ICG NIR fluorescence imaging. Verbal consent was obtained, because the use of ICG NIR fluorescence imaging is currently in our hospital standard-of-care during difficult surgical procedures, if no contraindications (impaired kidney function, hypo/hyperthyroidism, pregnancy, and allergy for iodine) for the use of ICG exists.
