: This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Queen Fabiola Children’s University Hospital (Reference number: CEH n°26/24). The study was conducted as part of the Inter-University Diploma in Pediatric Laparoscopic Surgery at Université Paris Cité (France), in collaboration with Queen Fabiola Children’s University Hospital (HUDERF), Brussels, Belgium.The requirement for informed consent to participate was waived by the Institutional Review Board of the Queen Fabiola Children’s University Hospital due to the retrospective nature of the study and the use of anonymized data. According to Belgian law (May 7, 2004) on human research, the committee determined that individual informed consent was not required because this retrospective study posed no risk to participants. All data were handled in accordance with Belgian law (July 30, 2018) on personal data protection and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data were pseudonymized or anonymized, and confidentiality was strictly maintained.
