: The study was approved by the Ethics Review and Consultancy Committee (ERCC) of the Cameroon Bioethics Initiative (CAMBIN), at the following address: P.O. Box 31489, Biyem-Assi, Yaounde, Cameroon. CAMBIN is a legal, non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, non-discriminatory, multidisciplinary Cameroonian association that aims to promote ethical standards in biomedical research, particularly in Cameroon. The research ethics clearance reference number is CBI/447/ERCC/CAMBIN and was issued on 27/11/2019. Written informed consent was obtained from each participant prior to their inclusion in the study, or from their parents in the case of children.The study adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki.
