: for this study was obtained from the College of Medicine Research and Ethics Committee (COMREC) under protocol number P.11/24-1244, with additional institutional support letter from the Director General of Mzuzu Central Hospital. As the study involved a retrospective review of medical case files without direct patient interaction, individual informed consent was not required for this study. Instead, the ethics committee waived this requirement in accordance with the National Research Ethics Guidelines.
