: Primarily, adult male SPF rats (weight, 200–250 g; 10–12 weeks old; SLRC Laboratory Animal, Shanghai, China) were used to perform various in vivo functional assessments. All animal procedures and protocols were approved by the animal centre of the Third Xiangya Hospital, Central South University and conformed to the “Guidelines for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals” published by the U.S. NIH. Ethical approval for this study (Ethical No. 2023/2/BP) was obtained from the Ethics Committee of Central South University.
