:
: This study was approved by the NYU Grossman School of Medicine Institutional Review Board (IRB), study 17–01479. All study participants will complete the informed consenting process with a member of the research team. Written consent was obtained during the Wave 1 (pre-COVID, July–September 2019). Beginning in Wave 2 (September–October 2020 and January–February 2021) a waiver of documentation of written consent was obtained from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine IRB, and complete verbal consent was obtained using a telephone verbal script, with a key information form provided to all participants prior to baseline assessment via mail, text, or email. This was due to the intervention moving to a remote format because of COVID. Personal information about participants collected during the study will be stored in REDCap and in encrypted spreadsheets on a secure server through NYU. Adverse events and unintended effects are not expected, but if arise will be discussed among the research team and handled on a case-by-case basis.
