: Before conducting the study, ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Committee of the School of Nursing on behalf of the University of Gondar. A letter of permission was obtained from the University of Gondar’s comprehensive specialized referral hospital director. After the purpose and objective of the study had been informed, written informed consent was obtained from each study participant. All participants were also informed that participation was voluntary and they could withdraw from the study at any time if they were not comfortable with the questionnaire. To keep the confidentiality of any information provided by study subjects, the data collection procedure was kept anonymously. The study was carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
