: Ethical approval was obtained from the Research and Ethical Review Committee of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, Accra Technical University, with protocol number ATU/MLT/ET/01200009B/2020–2021. The management of the University of Ghana Hospital also gave permission to carry out this study. However, due to the retrospective study design, obtaining consent to participate in this study was not plausible, hence, this was waived by the committee.
