: Ethical clearance was obtained from the Department of Pharmacy Research and Ethics Review Committee (approval number: CHS/545/phar-12). As the study was conducted only through review of medical records, participants were not available to give consent. However, data were collected after obtaining written permission from the medical director of ACSH and the study aims were discussed with staff members of the diabetic clinic. The collected data was kept confidential. All methods included in this study were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1964, and its later amendments.
