Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the Liverpool John Moores University Ethics Committee (reference /EHC/007) and the study adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki. All study participants gave informed verbal consent to participate, which was recorded electronically by researchers using CAPI facilities. Written consent was not requested to ensure participants’ anonymity and data confidentiality. This approach was approved by the ethics committee. Potential respondents were told that they were able to decline participation and were free to withdraw at any point.
