: The institutional research board (IRB) at Hamad Medical Corporation considered this analysis as an audit or service/therapy evaluation project since the data used was routinely collected for clinical audit and as an integral part of service evaluation purposes. The project was granted an exemption from requiring ethics approval. Administrative permissions were required to access the raw data used in the study and was granted by the Chairman of Hamad Dental Centre (HDC), and the HDC departmental research committee. All data used in this study was anonymised before its use.
