: The authors of the research entitled “Evaluation of Silver Diamine Fluoride Modified Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (SMART) on Hypomineralized First Permanent Molar”- A Randomized Controlled Clinical study” confirm that the study protocol approval was obtained from the Institutional Ethical committee of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University (code no. A05031219) before starting the study. Written agreement consent was obtained from the parent or the guardian of each patient after a brief description of all the study details including risks and benefits. Also, each child assent was obtained before starting the procedures. Data of patients was confidentially protected by special codes. All the procedures of the study have been carried out in accordance with The Code of Ethics of the World Medical Association (Declaration of Helsinki) for experiments involving humans.
