: The HUNT study was approved by the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. Participation in HUNT4 Trondheim 70 + was voluntary, and all participants gave informed written consent. For participants who were not able to give informed consent due to cognitive impairments, informed written consent was obtained from the nearest proxy. The current study has been approved by the Regional Committee for Medical and Health Research Ethics in Norway (no. 81406) and Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research (no. 154423).
