Ethical approval was granted by the Medical Ethics Committee of School & Hospital of Stomatology Wenzhou Medical University (Approval No. WYKQ2025014). The study had no direct contact with the subjects and only collected information on occupational sharps injuries from hospital staff, which was used for analytical purposes only, so the Medical Ethics Committee of School & Hospital of Stomatology Wenzhou Medical University waived the informed consent of the subjects.
