: Ethical Approval for this study was obtained from Sivas Cumhuriyet University Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee with the permission number 2023-12/27. The ethical standards stated in the Declaration of Helsinki were followed. Since all participants of this study are under state protection, Sivas Children’s Homes Center Coordination Directorate was contacted. The purpose of the study and the procedures were explained in detail and official permission was obtained. The informed consent forms approved by the ethics committee for orphan children were signed by the children’s caregivers. As a result of the examination procedures, all orphans in need of treatment were directed to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Dentistry and all necessary dental treatments were performed free of charge.
