: Ethical approval for this study was granted by Boston University Medical Campus Institutional Review Board (H-40368) and this study was performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. [ ] ClinicalTrials.gov (Identifier NCT04524533). Research assistants reviewed informed consent with eligible patients, and those who consented completed the baseline questionnaire prior to their dental visit. Participants were randomized to intervention or control groups after they completed their baseline questionnaire. Data for the current study is drawn only from the baseline questionnaire, prior to randomization.
