The trial was an interventional study registered on ClinicalTrials.gov under identifier number (NCT06447324). The study adhered to the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki - Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Participants (2008 version) All the patients under 16 years old who presented to the Outpatient Clinic of the Pediatric Dentistry Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Suez Canal University had their parents or legal guardians sign informed consent.
