: A clinical trial was conducted following Helsinki's code and CONSORT guidelines. The study was a randomized, parallel, single-blind clinical trial, applying CONSORT specifications, with participants randomly assigned into test and control groups using a computer-generated random list. Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the Research Ethics Committee at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University (IRB 00010556) - (IORG 0008839). Detailed informed consent was provided by each patient.
