: A cross-sectional study was performed analyzing CBCT of patients affected by JIA and comparing them with controls. The study protocol was approved by the Ethical Committee of the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’Granda, Ospedale Maggiore, Milan - Italy (protocol n.573/15). All procedures performed in this study involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. To carry out an anonymous analysis of their children’s medical history for research purposes, written informed consent was obtained from the parents of the patients.
