The Institutional Review Board of the University of Chieti-Pescara classified the study as exempt from ethical review because it involved anonymous questionnaire data and posed negligible risk to participants. Informed consent was not required according to Italian Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 and EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), as participation was entirely voluntary and no identifiable personal data were collected.
