: Permission to conduct the study was obtained from the director of the specialist periodontology clinic, ensuring that participant rights were protected following the policies of the School of Dentistry at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. The Ethics Committee of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences approved the study protocol (Approval ID: IR.MUI.RESEARCH.REC.1402.125). The study’s purpose and protocol were explained to each participant, and written consent was obtained before each interview.
