: This study was performed in accordance with principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from Research Ethics Committee, Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University with the number 1026-1/2025. The committee functions under IRB No: 00010556 and IORG: 0008839. It was set up and reported in accordance with the CONSORT 2025 guidelines for randomized clinical trials. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to their enrollment. A completed CONSORT 2025 checklist is provided as Additional File 1. The authors confirm that the manuscript has been screened for textual similarity using Turnitin. The analysis yielded a similarity index of 6%, excluding bibliography and standard methodological phrases, confirming the originality of the work.
