Amendments will be submitted to the Medical Ethics Committee of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel/UZ Brussel and, upon approval, will be updated in the online trial registry at and as a revision to this protocol submission.Data collectors will collect informed consent from GPs, patients, and SDMs willing to participate. All interested participants will be provided a full information form describing the aims and procedures of the study, potential benefits and risks of participating, and the measures taken to ensure anonymity of the data conform the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Europese Algemene Verordening omtrent Gegevensbescherming (AVG)). Participants will be given time to consider participation and have the opportunity to ask questions before they decide whether or not to provide consent to participate. All participants will be informed of their right to withdraw their consent at any time during the course of the study, without this negatively impacting their health care. Written consent will be obtained on paper from patients and SDMs. GPs will be able to provide their consent through an online form from which they are able to reference the original consent document as well as the study information sheet.
