: This study was conducted in full accordance with international ethical principles and with relevant international guidelines and regulation documents, such as World Medical Association adoption of the Declaration of Helsinki (2024) and the Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine (2001). Essential requirements included ethics committees’ approval and an informed consent from for participants in an online format. The participants’ consent to participate in the study meant that we processed their data for the purpose of the clinical study. Only anonymized data has been used for data analysis and in any documentation, reports, or publications regarding the study. Respondents indicated that their participation in the survey was voluntary and anonymous. Participants could drop out at any time, simply by not responding or, afterwards, by retracting via email. The collected data contained no identifying responses and was stored on a password protected server in Belgium. Only the research team had access to the data. Our study respected the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, for gathering, analysing, storage and destruction of data. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Ghent University (Nr.: B6702023000518). The study was additionally approved by the Portuguese Ethics Commission of ESSATLA with the number PCE42_2024. For Switzerland no authorization of the ethics committee is required (BASEC-Nr.: Req-2024-00213). No additional ethical approval was needed for the Czechia.
