Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The University of Haifa IRB committee No. 056/07 and the Helsinki committee of Bnaiy-Zion Medical Center No. 66/05 approved the study for women participants with sexual abuse. All participants in the study were over 18 years of age and agreed voluntarily to participate. All participants received an explanation of the research aims, of potential risks involved in participating in the interviews, and the safety venues available in case of need. All participants signed an informed consent form.
