Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This study was approved by the Kyoto University Graduate School and Faculty of Medicine Ethics Committee (Approval No. E2248).A researcher and local government officials explained the study both in person and in writing to mothers who came for health check-ups. Mothers who consented to participate were given questionnaires, which were then collected directly from the mothers at the site. We used an anonymous self-reported questionnaire.
