Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Letter of Ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of Jimma University, Institute of Health Sciences after approval of the proposal. Official permission was obtained from the district health office. As the study participants were emancipated minors living independently, the need for parental consent was waived by the Institutional Review Board of Jimma University. Due to the education level of the participants, the ethics committee approved the procedure for data collection by obtaining oral consent. The study participants were informed that participating in this study was voluntary and verbal informed consent was obtained from each study unit and recorded by data collectors.
