: We performed all the samplings and experiments in accordance with the guidelines of the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH) for research with human subjects. We first obtained an ethical clearance (EC2013/053) for the study through the local ethical committee of Sat Kaival Hospital Pvt Ltd. A prior informed written consent was taken from all the participants. Later, faecal samples were collected by patients from their home and vaginal swabs were taken during their visit to hospital; other than that no invasive technique was applied to patients.
