: The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee for Health Research (CERS) of Burkina Faso by deliberation n°2023-07-178 of 12 July 2023.This committee acts in accordance with the principles of the Helsinki Declaration.The data used are those of the software (ESOPE) for monitoring HIV patients in routine practice. The need for informed consent was waived by the “Comité d’Ethique pour la Recherche en Santé (CERS)” because of the retrospective nature of the study. The approval of the ethics committee authorises the use of routine data in this study.
