The study protocol was approved by the Human Research Protection Program at San Diego State University (HS-2021–0031) in the US and the University of Ibadan/University College Hospital Joint Institutional Review Board, in Nigeria (UI/EC/21/0183). Written informed consent (and assent, where applicable) was obtained from all participants prior to participation. Letter of approval was obtained from the Oyo state Ministry of Education, Nigeria and permission obtained from the Principals of each school.
