: The study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from the Comité Institucional de Bioética em Saúde of the Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade Eduardo Mondlane and Hospital Central de Maputo (CIBSFM&HCM/65/2025), as well as the institutional review board of Maputo Central Hospital (112.024.1/DCP/HCM/25). Written informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to data collection; participant information and consent procedures were conducted in Portuguese. For abstraction of de-identified clinical data from medical records, a waiver of additional consent was granted where applicable, in accordance with national regulations and the above ethics approvals.
