Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Animals were treated as per Ethical Principles and Guidelines for Scientific Experiments on Animals (1995) formulated by the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences and Swiss Academy of Sciences. All the experimental protocols were approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee of Stamford University Bangladesh (SUB/IAEC/15.06). The animals were euthanized using pentobarbital sodium according to the AVMA guidelines for the Euthanasia of Animals: 2013 Edition. Pentobarbital sodium was intraperitoneally administered at the dose of 40 mg/Kg b.w. to anaesthetize the animals.
