: All experiments and methods were approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee of the University of Gujrat, Pakistan, with reference#321 (dated: 18-12-2020), while the animal model was approved by the Institutional Biosafety Committee of the University of Gujrat, Pakistan with reference#320 (dated: 18-12-2020). All experiments and plant cultivation under study were carried out as per guidelines of National Environmental Policy []. Additionally, this plant is freely available for local food, so there is no constraint in collecting the plant. Consent to participation is not applicable.
