: All methods and procedures adopted in the study are in agreement with appropriate guidelines and regulations. Fresh roots of <i>T. sinensis</i> were collected from Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh, India. Then, it was authenticated and identified by Dr. B Ravi Prasad Rao, Professor, Biodiversity Conservation Division, Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU). Finally the specimen in the form of herbarium with a voucher number 55585 was deposited at the department of botany, Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU), Anantapuramu. The study was approved for research protocol and permission was granted to collect the plant material by the Doctoral Committee, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA).
