: This experiment was conducted in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the Northeast Laboratory Animal Centre at Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, Thailand. In addition, the Khon Kaen University’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee at Khon Kaen, Thailand, approved the animal ethics in the present study (approval no. IACUC-KKU-25/61). This study was also carried out in conformity with the ARRIVE criteria, as well as applicable institutional, national, and international regulations and legislation. The CH root bark was obtained from Roi Et province, Thailand. This plant was authenticated by Mr.Teerapat Bootchan and deposited as a voucher specimen (KKU No. 21145) in the herbarium of Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Thailand. Furthermore, this plant is not protected in Thailand. It’s also a common plant in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and many regions of Thailand. It is freely collectible and usable by anyone.
