: The ethical approval letter was obtained from the Mizan Tepi University research and community service office (Ref no: MTU/CMHS/28/258/14/14). The study protocol was approved by the College of Medicine and Health Science Research and Community Service Directorate. Written informed consent was received from the patient or relatives. The purpose of the study was explained to the participants independently before data collection and they were informed that their participation was purely voluntary with secured confidentiality. The participants were also informed that they had full right not to participate in or withdraw from the study, but the quality of care was not affected and the study was conducted as per the declaration of Helsinki.
