: The fresh leaves of R. stricta were collected in June from the private land in Islamabad, Pakistan and then shade dried. Prior to collection, formal permission was obtained from the respective landowner. A professional taxonomist Prof. Dr. Zaheer-ud-din Khan from the Botany Department at Government University (GCU), Lahore, Pakistan, verified the authenticity of the collected plant. Additionally, a voucher specimen was submitted with the reference number 4013 to the herbarium at Government College University Lahore Pakistan. All the procedures were followed in accordance with relevant guidelines.
