: No specific ethical approval or permissions were required for this study. The plant material (Punica granatum L. cv. Assiuty) was obtained from commercial markets in Assiut and New Valley governorates, Egypt. As the samples were sourced from cultivated produce and not collected from wild populations or protected areas, no formal botanical identification or voucher specimen deposition was necessary.Experiments were conducted on the commercially available THP-1 human leukemia cell line (sourced from ATCC); therefore, no ethical approval or informed consent was required in accordance with institutional and international guidelines.
